In local government, one of the UK’s biggest volume recruitment markets, councils often rely on large recruitment firms, risking overspend and a lack of flexibility.To help Matrix win market share, we needed to convince HR and procurement teams that changing their approach could improve outcomes and deliver savings.

Working with the sales team we a programme targeting key accounts at councils working with major recruitment brands whose contracts were coming up for renewal.

To nurture these relationships, we developed toolkits, case studies, and buyer’s guides tailored to each stage of the buying journey.

This rich suite of collateral created the right conditions for sales conversations and positioned Matrix’s solution as an alternative credible procurement option, giving buyers a clear idea of the journey to purchase and implementation.

As Matrix expanded into new sectors, we equipped its growing sales team with the tools to build relationships and drive conversions.

Working alongside the CEO, we also simplified the brand and product messaging, refreshed the brand identity, and overhauled its website to support ambitious growth plans.

Results: 7 UK nations and regions targeted with invitation-only buyer events, 25+ sales meetings and follow-ups with priority accounts and five major clients won within 18 months.
